Webinar replay videos may be hosted on the website itself, or embedded from other third-party sources like YouTube. Therefore, you may check where the video is hosted or try one or more of the methods below to download the video.

Save Webinar Video to your computer with Developer Tools

If the webinar replay is hosted on the website, you can use your browser’s Developer Tools to download the media. This way, you don’t need to download any extensions or apps. You can use web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.

  1. Open your web browser and go to the webpage with the webinar replay you want to download.
  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select “Inspect” or “Inspect Element” to open the Browser Developer Tools panel. You may also use the keyboard shortcut Command +Shift + C for Mac or F12 for Windows.
  3. In the Developer Tools panel, click on the “Network” tab and then click on “Media”.
  4. Reload the page and start playing the Webinar video. Then you will see a few URLs listed: download links of the webinar video.
  5. Copy the video source URL by right-clicking on it and selecting “Copy” or using the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+C or Command+C).
  6. Open a new tab in your browser and paste the copied URL into the address bar. Press Enter to navigate to the video source directly. In some cases, you need to delete the “range” parameter as highlighted in the screenshot below in the URL before the video can load.
  7. Right-click on the video in the new tab and select “Save Video As” or “Save Video” from the context menu.
  8. Choose the desired download location on your device and click “Save” to start the video download.

  4. In OBS Studio, click on the “+” icon in the “Sources” section and select “Window Capture” or “Display Capture.”
  5. Choose the browser window or display where the video is playing and click “OK” to add it as a source.
  6. Right-click on the added source in the “Sources” section and select “Filters.”
    In the “Filters” window, click on the “+” button and select “Scene Buffer Time.”
